How fast minutes work
- Counted by length. A 45 minute recording uses 45 fast minutes, however long it takes to process.
- Free accounts: files up to 30 minutes, 3 a day. They are free, and the count resets at midnight UTC. A longer file, or a fourth file in a day, uses pack hours for its full length, so a one hour file uses 60 pack minutes.
- Pro: monthly hours first. Your 10 Pro hours are used before any pack hours. They renew every 30 days, and unused monthly minutes do not carry over.
- Failed jobs are refunded. If a fast transcription fails on our side, the minutes it reserved are refunded automatically, and a free file used that day is given back.
- Pack hours never expire. They stay in your account until you use them, on the free plan or on Pro.
- Out of fast minutes? The browser lane is still free and unlimited, so you can always keep transcribing.

Stay on Free. Use the browser lane for anything that is not urgent, and your 3 free fast files a day, up to 30 minutes each, when you need speed or speaker labels.
A project with a deadline
Buy an hour pack or two. A $5 pack covers a two hour interview with an hour to spare, or three one-hour episodes. Leftover hours wait for your next project.
Every week
Go Pro. At $9.99 a month for 10 fast hours, it suits a weekly podcast, regular client interviews or a semester of lectures. Cancel anytime, and add packs in a busy month.
Paying
Payments are handled by Stripe. Hour packs are a single charge with nothing to cancel. Pro renews monthly until you cancel.
